GUDI
In ancient Bharat, Temples served a larger social purpose of human empowerment apart from being centres of Divine worship. The temples of the yore have also served as (1) Home for homeless (2) Dharama Shala (3) Vidya Shaala (4) Therapy centre (5) Library (6) Yog & Dhyana centre (7) Justice dissemination (8) Kala shaala for various arts like music, literature, dance, painting, sculpting etc (9) Shastra Adhyayana Mandali for Study and research of Shaastras (10) Discussion forum on various philosophies and schools of thought (11) Maternity care and labour ward (12) Shraddha / Adhyaatma Kendra or Faith and spiritual centre

With the above functions being discharged by the temples without any discrimination, the glory of our motherland, continuous excellence in all aspects of national life was ensured. Bharat continued to be a Jagadguru without any difficulty for the following reasons

  • Concept of an orphan (anaadh) eliminated as an ANAADH has a VISHWANAADH or RAGHUNAADH as NAADH (guardian) or Jaganmata or the supreme mother for mother.
  • Genuine Social undertaking like dharma Shaala by temples
  • Truly empowered education system
  • A not for profit health care system accessible for all
  • A vibrant intellectual environment enabling rapid strides in various philosophies, sciences, social sciences, literature, poetry, music, dance forms, yog etc
  • Decentralized and efficient justice system that works on the principles of dharma
With such an efficient, decentralized and A Not For Profit health care system accessible for all focused on man making, character building and holistic approach, it is no wonder that our country has prospered in all walks of life. The ruler and administrators were left free to focus on strategy for advancement and security of the country. No wonder that we produced the best of scientists, sculptors, litterateurs, poets, artisans, warriors etc. It is not for nothing that this land alone could build an empire of spirit as opposed to the one found on sword. Nalanda Taksh Shila, Khajuraoh, Ajanta, Ellora, Thousand pillar temple, Konark temple, Number system, Yog science, Ayurveda, Buddha, Adi Shankara, Ramanuja, Hampi, Samskrut, Chatrapati Shivaji, Chanakya etc are a few fascinating examples of a system that enabled this land to reach unparalleled heights and hold on to it for ages.

Present Situation
  • Temples in a state of dire neglect
  • Lot many orphans and uncared for elders
  • Commercialized education system
  • No real heath care system worth the name
  • An insipid intellectual environment
  • litigant public and over burdened courts

OUR INSPIRATION – GNANA SARASWATHI TEMPLE

Proposed Temple

  1. Ground floor for activities like Aksharaabhyasa
  2. Garbha Griha in the first floor
  3. Dhyana centre to the north of the temple
  4. Bhojana shaala in the ground floor.

The body created by Lord Brahma acquires ‘chaitanya’ with the entry of Mother Saraswathi

The five senses (Pancha bhoot) merge with the mother and all the functions of the body are perfectly executed. According to our puranas, every individual would have the mother Saraswathi residing in him/her.

It is a universally recognized fact that without education a man cannot be successful. Hence the special emphasis on the supreme mother who writes the Hamsa and resides in kamal and holds SPATHIKA VEENA as her choosen instrument. This is the reason why our culture placed a great emphasis on Aksharabhyasa on VASANTAPANCHAMI DAY- the day when the supreme mother Saraswathi evolved.

Our objective of achieving overall development of village students by conducting various constructive programs is highly inspired by temple construction activity in association with students and GNANA SARASWATHI SEVA SAMITI. A Saraswati temple is being constructed in Nandi Vanaparthy village of Yacharam Mandal.

Nandi vanaparthy the village 50 Kms from Hyderabad city on Nagarjuna sagar highway road,3 kms from highway. The village with 200 years of history and significant spiritual heritage has been chosen for the purpose. The foundation plans to construct a grand GNANA SARASWATHI TEMPLE to carry out its plan and accomplish the purpose.

The Gnana Saraswathi Foundation aims to accomplish the above objective with the temple and school at the core in line with the practice of ancient Bharat. We have committed volunteer force working at the ground level on all the above activities

Approach

  • It is planned that cost of rest of temple will be raised by contribution received from students studying in colleges at various level (inter to Phd). More number of students are needed for the better progress of the temple work.
